NaNoWriMo

Right, I said I wouldn’t do it again, but it looks like I’m having another attempt at doing NaNoWriMo this year.

It means a wasted November again, filled with the stress of meeting the daily (1,667) word count, but hey, I’m having another go.

I’ve done it the last three years, reaching the 50,000 goal each time, but not without a few struggles.

It’s a big commitment to spend a couple of hours writing each day, but there’s nothing like the feeling when you hit “The Zone” and your fingers fail to keep up with what is spewing from your brain. Then again, on other days there’s nothing like the despair of feeling like you’re totally out of ideas and you’re struggling to catch up with the word count.

Give it a go! Everybody has a story in them, see if you can get yours out of your brain and onto a page.
